Feedback on Skippy Efforts I have found what appears to be the site of the original Skippy list.

213 Things Skippy Is No Longer Allowed To Do In The US Army.

And I have offered my accolades as follows:

"I must say i am impressed with the Skippy List. I was in the Navy for 20 years, and in the last year have been accused of being the author of that list a number of times.
I've tried to adapt the list to situations I'm more familiar with: Role playing games, star trek, scouting.
I also tried to come up with my own submarine version, based on my timeunderwater. It came out different. "
And i provided a link to these pages.
I got feedback from Jonathan Schwarz:

Well, my hat is off to you.
I really liked what I read.
My only suggestion is that you go back and change out the parts that you "borrowed" from my list. Not because I'm sulky that you copied my jokes. But because the other stuff you wrote was good, and I think you short-changed yourself by doing so.
Over the past couple of years I've been sent links to many sites by people who were inspired to make their own lists. Yours are the only ones that I have been impressed by. All I can say is, keep it up.
Actually I can do you one better than that. If you do change the parts that are just my reworded jokes, Ill link your site to mine. (And that is not something I offer everyone who writes me, just so you know) I want to see what you come up with bad enough to justify that."

Keep up the good work,
Jonathan (AKA Skippy)

So, i've spent a couple of days trimming off the rip-offs. Not often that a class-clown gets an offer like that...
